When my maternal grandfather, Surendra Mohan Srivastava, was a young boy in Nainital, his childhood was filled with curiosity, joy, and wonderful adventures. The beautiful hills, fresh mountain air, green forests, and peaceful lakes of Nainital made his younger days unforgettable.
My grandfather was always a curious and adventurous child. He loved exploring new places and finding the hidden beauty of nature. He shared many childhood moments with his elder brother, Rajendra Kumar Srivastava, who was his guide and companion.
One bright morning, Surendra and Rajendra Kumar decided to explore a new trail near the hills of Nainital. They found a small hidden path covered with leaves and surrounded by tall trees.
The journey was filled with excitement. The birds sang, the cool breeze blew, and the beauty of nature made their adventure feel magical.
The path was sometimes difficult, but the two brothers helped each other and continued their journey.
Finally, they reached a beautiful viewpoint. From there, they could see the peaceful lake and the magnificent mountains of Nainital.
That day became one of the most special memories of my grandfather’s life. His story shows that the greatest adventures are found in simple moments shared with family.
